for a poison emergency

The Utah Poison Control Center is an integral part of the education mission of the College of Pharmacy. In addition to teaching a clinical toxicology course for third year pharmacy students, the UPCC faculty precept students during six-week experiential clerkships and teach a poison prevention elective. The UPCC faculty and staff are also involved in training emergency medicine residents, pediatric emergency medicine fellows, and other health professional students.
