Lesson Plan Overview
Babysitters help keep children safe, but it can be harder when they’re in someone else’s home. They may not know where dangerous products are kept, or which items could be harmful. This lesson plan uses handouts, games, and a video to teach babysitters how children can get poisoned, what types of poisons there are, how to prevent poisonings, and what to do if a poisoning happens.
